Born in 1956 in Poznań, studied law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in the years 1975-1979, master’s thesis at the Department of International Law entitled: "The Notion of Armed Conflict in the Light of International Law”, prosecutor traineeship in the years 1980-1982, work for prosecution offices in the years 1982-1997, head of the Provincial Prosecution Office in Poznań in the years 1995-1996, legal counsel since 1997.
Member of Rotary Club Poznań - Puszczykowo (a charity founded in Chicago in 1906), President of the Club in the years 2005-2006.
